About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
D.Terri Design is a multidisciplinary interior design /architecture studio dedicated to crafting thoughtful, timeless spaces that elevate everyday living. Founded by Terri Tan, who has over 10 years of design experience, she on the belief that design is both art and service, we create environments that reflect our clients' visions while enhancing the functionality, emotion, and soul of each space. With a refined approach that balances form and function, our work spans residential, commercial, and experimental conceptual projects. Every project is approached with curiosity, creativity, and deep respect for context—whether cultural, spatial, or emotional.

Our Story
DterriDesign was born from a desire to create spaces that go beyond aesthetics - spaces that offer comfort, connection, and care. Founded by a Malaysian designer with a background in interior architecture, our studio emerged from the belief that design can be a quiet yet powerful force for emotional and social healing.
A turning point in our journey came in 2017, during the redesign of London’s historic Smithfield Market. What began as an academic project evolved into a deeply personal exploration: transforming a derelict market into a rehabilitation center for hospital workers and the families of patients. This experience revealed the profound role interior architecture can play in addressing human loneliness, wellbeing, and dignity.
Since then, DterriDesign has grown into a platform for concept-driven, empathetic design. Our work - from experimental future projects to bespoke interior spaces - continues to challenge convention, rooted in storytelling, cultural awareness, and emotional intelligence.
Every space we shape is a quiet dialogue between memory, material, and meaning - a reflection of our belief that design should serve both the mind and the heart.
